(i) "Advance Payment Needed" 

1. Firstly, choose your hotel or tour, filling the order form and submit to us. Your booking status shown in My Booking will be "Processing..."
2. We will check the availability once we received your order form.
3. If applicable, we will change your booking status to "Awaiting Payment". Besides, we will send you an email to notify the status changed. Please login and pay via the link inside your booking record. Please be inform that there will be a 3% transaction fee charged by bank.
4. After we received your payment, we will deliver an email to inform you that the Booking Is Success, with a Reservation Receipt in attachment. Now your booking status will be "Confirmed".

(ii) No "Advance Payment Needed"  

1. Firstly, choose your hotel or tour, filling the order form and submit to us. Your booking status shown in My Booking will be "Processing..."
2. We will check the availability once we received your order form.
3. If applicable, we will deliver an email to inform you that the Booking Is Success, with a Reservation Receipt in attachment. Now your booking status will be "Confirmed". All you need to do is pay directly to the hotel / tour guide upon check-in / on traveling day.

We are not travel agency, we didn’t arrange tours by ourselves. We connected the local tour agencies offering you one-stop service with wide selection.

For hotels or tours that DO NOT require advance payment (deposit), you could book it at anytime (but at least 1 day prior).

For hotels or tours that REQUIRE advance payment (deposit), there would be troublesome for you to change the date after payment.

Therefore, a confirmed date is required before you book any of these.

If Advanced Payment (deposit) needed to secure your booking, there are several ways for you to pay:

MOCAT License Number

If you decided to take a local tour, please ensure that the tour company / travel agency has this license. This license is issued by Ministry of Culture, Arts and Tourism of Malaysia, to control operation & prove legitimacy of one company.

There are a lot of inbound tour companies in Sabah, but some of them are illegal. If you choose a local tour with cheaper price but they don’t have this license, be aware that it maybe a trap, or they will have some hidden cost that you never know before you get on their car.

The differences between a bad and a good tour company are:

• Tour guides training - A qualified tour guide has to take & passed the examination which held by government.
• Professional - They will take care of everyone even there are a lot of visitors.
• Number of tour buses - Most of the tour companies don’t have their own van/buses. Sometimes they will cancel the itinerary or pass to other company if number of visitors too little.
• What’s included - Well listed terms so that you know the inclusive and exclusive items.

Normally, the tour guide is English speaking, because there are only a few Chinese speaking tour guides in Sabah.

But if your group has 6 peoples (adults & children) and above, you may request a Chinese speaking (Mandarin / Cantonese) tour guide. During low season, we could even try to arrange a Private Tour for you with private tour guide, private van and no others tourists.

Additionally, if the tour has noted that "you may request a Chinese speaking tour guide", feel free to indicate your request when you book no matter how many persons you have, but we can’t guarantee for the arrangement.

Once your booking has confirmed, we will send you a Reservation Receipt with tour company contact number, as well as the contact number of Sabah Booking. You are welcome to contact us whenever you need, otherwise contact & reconfirm is not necessary.

All you need to do is waiting the tour guide to pickup you at hotel lobby on travelling day. If some situation occurs like tour has been cancelled due to bad weather, tour company will contact and inform you.

Certainly, tourist rights and benefits are our priority, we comply to Sabah Tourism Board advise that 'to use only licensed operators and guides to avoid any fraud'.

Sabah Booking could guarantee that, all tours available here are operated by legal and registered tour company. You may find the tour company name, address, manager name and contact number in Reservation Receipt delivered by us once your booking has been confirmed.
