No cancellations for tours after earthquake

Earthquake occurred at 23:00 on 4th of June, the epicenter near Ranau (straight-line distance 14KM), and about 67KM to Kota Kinabalu City (straight-line distance).

Due to the epicentre was located in remote area, no major disaster reported.


All tours are going on as usual, except Kinabalu Park and Poring Hot Spring related tour due to the centers were temporarily closed.

State authorities have announced a three-week suspension of activities on Mount Kinabalu summit as repair works to the trail and facilities begin.

 

13th June Update:
The Kinabalu Park and Poring Hot Spring have been reopened, however the Botanical Garden in Kinabalu Park and Canopy Walkway in Poring Hot Spring are still closed for maintenance. This affected itineraries will be shifted to visit Botanical Garden in War Memorial Park.

 

17th June Update:
The Kinabalu Park and Poring Hot Spring tour is back to normal.
