Description

Mabul Water Bungalow is a 4-star floating dive resort, it is situated at Mabul Island overlooking the world-known Sipadan Island which is 15 minutes away by speedboat.

The facilities include a large and airy restaurant dining, a souvenirs shop selling varieties of accessories and gifts, a business center, a dive center, a health spa outlet, and many more.

You could enjoy a relaxing day on its sandy beaches, or swim in its crystal clear water.

Divers can look forward to an astonishing array of small marine life. For example, flamboyant cuttlefish, blue-ringed octopus, mimic octopus, and bobtail squid are just a few of the cephalopods to be found. Harlequin shrimp, boxer crabs, and many types of goby, including spike-fin goby, black sail-fin goby, and metallic shrimp can be found on Mabul's reef. Frogfish, moray eels, and snake eels are seen along with the scorpionfish family, Mabul is a truly magical macro site.

The accommodation at Mabul Water Bungalow is attached with a bathroom, hot shower & air-conditioning.

Diver Package Only: 3 guided boat dives (except arrival & departure day), tank, weight & weight belt. Unlimited jetty dive & night dives with the requirement.

Mabul Water Bungalow - Semporna: 07:00 AM & 11:00 AM.


Recommend flight timing guide:

Arrival day: Earliest flight or flight arrives before 11:30 AM.

Warm Remind

  • Only fully vaccinated travelers were accepted.
  • Children below 12 years old must be accompanied by fully vaccinated guardians.
  • Youth between 12-18 years old must receive at least 1 dose of vaccination.
  • Guest will bear the cost of transportation if symptomatic during the trip/stay and tested positive.
  • Children below 10 years old are not allowed to participate in diving activities.
  • Strictly "No Fly" within 18-24 hours after diving.
  • Additional fees will be charged for unscheduled transfers.
  • Combining Diver Package(D) and Non-Diver Package(ND) is not allowed.
  • Diver guests are encouraged to bring along their own equipment otherwise optional for rental from Dive Centre.
  • Please remember to bring swimwear, insect repellent, sunblock, change of clothes, and a drinking bottle.
  • An amendment fee of MYR 30 will be charged for any amendments after the confirmation is issued and payment done, except for additional days, tours, number of rooms, or number of people booked.
  • The final confirmed tour and any special request will only be valid if it is mentioned in the confirmation.
  • A surcharge will be supplied during the festive seasons, such as Christmas. New Year Eve and many more.
  • Package validity until 31/12/2022.
  • Transport timing will be arranged based on given flight time. Please request for private transport with us if you wish to customise your pick up time, extra fee will be applied.

How to Pay

Pay on travelling day

No advance payment is required, simply pay cash in Ringgit-Malaysia to tour guide. However, you still need pay in full for any cancellation made 1 day prior to tour date.

Accep Visa and MasterCard credit card, Malaysian bank transfer, Paypal, FPX, Alipay. 2.3% surcharge apply. Please be noted that 2.3% processing fee is non-refundable in case there is cancellation 3 days after the payment made.

  • Tour location / Depart from: Tawau (Semporna) . To reach Tawau city, you have to take a domestic flight or bus express from Kota Kinabalu or Sandakan. There are direct flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport too.

  • Recommend to book:  1 month(s) in advance

  • To book at least:  30 day(s) in advance

  • Cancellation & Refund Policy:  (1.) Over 14 days (from date of departure) charge 30% of Tour fare (2.) 7 to 14 days (from date of departure) charge 50% of tour fare (3.) Less than 7 days (from date of departure) charge full tour fare. (4.) No refund for those tours which involve accommodation.

  • Tour Type: Private trip. You group will NOT share the trip with other guests.

  • Insurance: Tourist transportation insurance included. Please contact your insurance agency for personal travel insurance.

  • Pickup Service:  Pickup service will be provided from the hotel/hostel/lodge that you are staying. Please wait at lobby while the tour guide will find you when he/she arrive. Dropoff service will be provided after travelling, please notify us upon booking if your dropoff location is differ from pickup location.

  • Specialities: You may decide the joining date, no compulsory tips (If you are happy and satisfied with the journey and the tour guide service, it's always a nice way to express your appreciation with tipping, OR words of thanks is good enough).
