Description

Pick up from hotel and begin exploring the city of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah’s capital city. Starting with a pleasant morning drive around Kota Kinabalu, the tour first takes you to enjoy some of the most scenic parts of the city.

Just when you think you know a place, there’s always something more to discover. The KK Heritage Walk unravels Kota Kinabalu’s rich history as you stroll along its streets. The walk is a guided tour of the city’s streets and landmarks, each with an interesting story of its own that dates back to pre-war, post-war and post-independence days.

Filipino Market is a major tourist attraction and shopping destination in KK City Center - the central feature along the Waterfront. This is the most popular place for handicraft souvenirs in town, managed mostly by immigrants and locals originating from the southern islands of Philippines.

Imposing, beautiful and unique in concept, the 30-storey aluminium and glass building Yayasan Sabah Group headquarters, the Menara Tun Mustapha is one of the most extraordinary buildings in the country.Built with bold architectural and engineering concepts, it is a building many thoughts was not possible to construct as it was the first of its kind in this region. The building is structured as a 72-sided polygon with walls made of 2,160 special reflective glass panels that can withstand wind speed up to 272 km/hour. Suspended from the central core of the building are steel radial brackets where some 96 high-tensile steel rods are hung and hold the 30 floors of the building. This building is known to be the fourth of such high-rise "hanging" office building in the world and has been a famous landmark and tourist attraction ever since its construction in 1975.

Kota Kinabalu Floating Mosque, is one of the most outstanding pieces of architecture in Sabah. Built on a 2.47 acres site at the Likas bay, the Kota Kinabalu Floating Mosque is the epitome of the Islamic modern-day architecture. Situated near the sea, it can accommodate from 9,000 to 12,000 people at a time.

Visit the Poh Toh Tze Buddhist temple which was built in 1980 where the temple stands out with its traditional Chinese roofing and structure. Ten large statues of deities enhances the splendor of the temple with the Goddess of Mercy, Kwan Yin, standing tall at the main entrance of the temple.

Visit to the exporter factory as Sabah is the processor, exporter and wholesaler of fresh and frozen seafoods from Malaysia. Our products are blue swimming crab, life mud crab, tiger prawn, sea white shrimp, banana shrimp, flower shrimp, lobsters, snapper, grouper, mackerel, sardines, silver & black pomfret, yellow fin tuna, butter fish, cuttlefish, squid.

Experience a breathtaking sunset at Tanjung Aru, where the sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky with a stunning array of colors. This picturesque spot is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of Sabah.
