Description

Perodua Myvi 1.5, a subcompact hatchback for comfortable and stylish city driving. Its simple control layout and easy-to-use features allow drivers to master the functions of the vehicle with ease and simplify the daily driving process.

Security Deposit (Compulsary)
- The security deposit must be paid in CASH upon picking up the car. If the car is returned without any issues, the security deposit will be refunded back to you.
-  Security Deposit Price: MYR200

Extended Time:
MYR30 for every hour. For extended time more than 8 hours will be charged the price of one day.   

Additional charges apply:
- Pick-up time/drop off time between 00:00 - 07:59 is subject to an additional charge of MYR50.
- For any car collection and car drop off outside of Tawau Airport. Kindly inquire with us regarding the extra charges.

【Please note that...】
- The rates are inclusive of Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance* valued at MYR18 per day
   ~ Vehicles with a capacity of less than 1600cc are held responsible for up to a maximum of MYR2,000 if there is any insured accident
- Rates are for a minimum of 24 hours of rental
- Rental rates may vary during high-demand seasons.

* Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): A type of coverage which helps to pay part of the damage for the rented car. 

The documents that will be requested from the hirer: 
Photocopies of driving licensed and passport/I.C., and hand it to the rental company upon pickup the vehicle.

【Guests from Mainland China】
"International Driving Permit" or International Driving Permit (IDP) is an internationally accepted international driving license recognized by all contracting states of the United Nations Convention on Road Traffic. Since mainland China has not joined the "United Nations Convention on Road Traffic", there is no official institution in mainland China to issue an international driver's license, so we recommend you to go to your local notary office to apply for a notarized document.

You can go to the notary office in your city in person or entrust your relatives and friends to apply for notarization of your driver's license in English. You need to submit 3 types of original documents with their copies (Chinese driver's license, China resident ID card, household registration booklet), the processing time is about 3-5 working days, and the cost is about RMB200, which is slightly different in different regions.

- Baby/Child under 135CM compulsary to sit baby/child car seat.

Car Insurance & CDW

What is Car Insurance?

The vehicle is covered under comprehensive Hire & Rental Insurance policy. In the event of any accident, loss or damage to the vehicle during the period of rental, the hirer is responsible for the first part of reparation (please refer Terms of Services above).

What is CDW?

The Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) can be purchased by payment of an additional amount to waive part of above liability. Please be informed that this waiver does not apply to full waive and you are responsible for the amount of ‘Non-Waiver Damage Excess’ (please refer Terms of Services above).

Situation and example

[without CDW]
Assuming the vehicle first part of reparation is MYR 2500, any damaged cost more than MYR 2500 will be covered by insurance.
In another words, hirer still need to pay maximum MYR 2500 if any damaged happend.

eg: Damaged cost MYR 3000 (confirmed by adjuster), hirer is responsible to pay MYR 2500 while insurance will cover MYR 500.

[with CDW]
If the hirer buy CDW, the ‘Non-Waiver Damage Excess’ become MYR 1000.

eg: Damaged cost MYR 3000 (confirmed by adjuster), hirer is responsible to pay MYR 1000 while insurance will pay MYR 2000.

How to Pay

Pay on travelling day

No advance payment is required, simply pay cash in Ringgit-Malaysia to tour guide. However, you still need pay in full for any cancellation made 1 day prior to tour date.

Pay Online

Accep Visa and MasterCard credit card, Malaysian bank transfer, Paypal, FPX, Alipay. 2.3% surcharge apply. Please be noted that 2.3% processing fee is non-refundable in case there is cancellation 3 days after the payment made.

Additional information

  • Car location: Tawau (Semporna) . To reach Tawau city, you have to take a domestic flight or bus express from Kota Kinabalu or Sandakan. There are direct flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport too.

  • Minimum rental day(s): 1 day(s)

  • Mileage Limitation: Unlimited

  • Cancellation & Refund Policy:  No refund for any cancellation of the booking.
