Sutera@Mantanani Island Resort is a luxurious getaway located on the stunning Mantanani Island in Sabah, which is made up of three islands: Big Mantanani Island, Little Mantanani Island, and Longisan Island. This remote island paradise boasts 2,500 meters of pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant coral reefs, with visibility often maintained between 20 to 40 meters. However, this can vary depending on the weather and sea conditions. Legend has it that two dugongs (manatees) were once seen near the island, resembling mermaids, hence Mantanani Island is also known as Mermaid Island.

To start this adventure, you need to make your way to the The Magellan Sutera Resort (click me) first. We'll begin our journey from here!
Land and sea transportation departure times:

(Boat) Jetty Sutera Mantanani Island → Sutera@Mantanani Island Resort: 14:15 (approx. 45mins)

(Land) Jetty Sutera Mantanani → The Magellan Sutera Harbour Resort: 13:45 (approx. 2 hours)

1st Day

Meet at main lobby of Magellan Sutera Harbour Resort.

Depart from the lobby to Jetty Sutera Mantanani, Kota Belud.

Depart from jetty by boat to Mantanani Island.

Arrived Sutera@Mantanani Island Resort & Spa, and check-in.

Free and easy: Activities available upon request (complimentary snorkelling equipment/kayaking/and other non-motorized activities around the island) and feel free to take photo at island.

Sunset walk.

Sunset cruise (extra charge, limited to 16 persons, first-come-first-served).

Back to resort and have a nice dream.
- On the first day, please make your own way to the Magellan Sutera Resort in Kota Kinabalu, then proceed together to the Sutera Mantanani Island jetty.
- Recommend to bring: extra pocket money, insect repellent, sun-block lotion, change of clothes, towel, cap/hat, slipper, handheld fan, waterproof phone pouch, camera, plastic bag for wet clothes, personal hygiene items, and medication.
- Marine-friendly sunscreens are recommended to protect marine life.
- Non-Malaysian citizens need to pay a tourism tax of MYR10/room per night to the resort.
- For safety reasons, each guest is allowed to bring only one piece of luggage (cabin or backpack size) on board. Additional luggage will incur a surcharge of MYR50 per piece, payable by the guest.
- Any bedding type requests are subject to availability.
- Child is definded as from aged 3-12 years old, includes one extra bed in the room with the parents/guardians.

How to Pay
Pay on travelling day
No advance payment is required, simply pay cash in Ringgit-Malaysia to tour guide. However, you still need pay in full for any cancellation made 1 day prior to tour date.
