Upon arrival at Klias River jetty, step aboard a comfortable boat and set off on an unforgettable 1.5-hour river cruise through a pristine mangrove forest reserve. Keep your eyes peeled for the rare and endearing Proboscis Monkeys, swinging long-tailed macaques, elegant silver leaf monkeys, and other fascinating wildlife that call this wetland home.

As the sun sets, nature unveils its most enchanting spectacle—watch as millions of fireflies dance like twinkling fairy lights, illuminating the riverbanks in a mesmerizing display. A truly magical and surreal experience!

Wrap up the evening with a delicious traditional Malay style dinner at a floating restaurant, savoring local flavors while surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the river.

Important Notes:
• Guests booking the Meet at Jetty must arrange their own transport.
• Advance booking is required for meeting at jetty; walk-in bookings are not accepted.
• The jetty is located approximately 2-3 hours from Kota Kinabalu city. For guests meeting at the jetty with their own transport, self-driving is recommended, as ride-hailing services or taxis may be difficult to find in the area.
• Peak season surcharges apply during high-demand periods.

•Hotel pickup and drop-off services are available only within Kota Kinabalu City Centre

•An additional surcharge of RM40 per person applies for hotels located outside the city centre or in surrounding outskirts areas.

    Pickup from hotel, depart to Klias jetty.

    Board the boat for estimate 1 hour 30 minutes river cruise along the wetland and mangrove forest reserve to search for the Proboscis Monkeys, long tail macaque monkeys, silver leaf monkeys and others interesting wildlife.

    Watch the sunset on boat.

    Return to the jetty for a Dinner served in buffet line.

No advance payment is required, simply pay cash in Ringgit-Malaysia to tour guide. However, you still need pay in full for any cancellation made 1 day prior to tour date.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:  (1) No refund for any cancellation made within 2 days from the tour date, 95% of full payment will be refunded if cancel 3 days and above. (2) Tour will still proceed in the event of rain if there are no cancellation mentioned. Guest that choose to not participate in the tour will be assumed as NO SHOW. (3) In the event of NO SHOW , there will be no refund for guest. (4) If the tour is cancelled by the operation team due to unforseen circumstances before the tour proceeds , guest will be refunded the tour fee. (5) Tour fee will not be refunded once the tour is proceeding. (6) Operation team reserves the right to cancel or postpone the tours if weather conditions do not permit for the safety and comfort of the guest.

Our guide made the night special
Our guide was so patient explaining the fireflies and the mangrove wildlife, even pointed out a silver leaf monkey we would've totally missed. Sunset from the boat was gorgeous too - highly recommend for a couple's evening out!
