Papar is located in the southern part of Kota Kinabalu, which is also an undeveloped residence for traditional ethnic Dusun. Papar River is a nice place to experience the Grade II – III rafting especially for those who loved water sports.

After gathering at lobby in the morning, tour guide will pickup you and start the trip. You can enjoy the impressive scenery of traditional Malay village along the way. After travelling for about 40 minutes, we will reach the basecamp, the place where we will have our lunch here afterward. You can prepare clothing and takes photos in the meantime, then a shuttle bus will fetch all challengers to the starting point of Papar River.

Before the rafting commence, we will go through a stone massage (roughness of hilly road) before reaching the starting point. Rafting starts right after the briefing of raft master regarding the safety procedure and how to use the facilities.

The raft master will take a break in the midway after rafting for about 40 minutes. Before continue the remaining trip, you can jump into the river to swim, or take a seat at the shore to enjoy the scenery of river bank. After rafting for 20 minutes we will reach to the ending point. Thus, the challenge of Papar River of length 13km in total has been completed.

Transfer for about 2 hours passing the South China Sea, scenery of villages, small town and some roadside fruit stall brings you to Kota Klias peninsula, located in between the small town as well as district of Beaufort and Kuala Penyu.

Upon arrival, you will be served with a local style high tea before going for river cruise.

Late afternoon, board on a boat and proceed to cruise in search for wild life along the river to name a few the notably proboscis monkeys, long tail macaque, birds such as Kingfisher, darter, eagle and perhaps the Silver Leaf monkeys.

Weston's swampy area is populated by aquatic wildlife such as mudskippers, otters and crocodiles. It is also the nursery ground for fishes, shrimps, clams, crabs and the likes.

At night, you will have the chance to see fireflies depending on the moon’s size and brightness and an opportunity to spot some nocturnal animals such as flying fox and bats. You might spot some fireflies around or nearby the jetty while enjoying your sumptuous dinner.
