Description

Kionsom Fall is located at Inanam, the nearest and the only waterfall located about 25 kms or 30-40 minutes drive from the Kota Kinabalu city. The waterfall is famous among the locals and could be crowded during weekend. The place is near the entrance to Mari-mari culture village.

This is a perfect opportunity to experience one of Borneo’s beautiful waterfall systems, whilst trekking through jungle untouched by the modern world, with the possible chance of seeing different species of animals. This truly is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Participants may cool down from the heat of the day by swimming & relaxing in the sensationally cool waterfall pools.

    Pickup from hotel and transfer to Kionsom Waterfall Centre. Approximately 30 minutes from Kota Kinabalu City.

    Meet at Kionsom Waterfall Centre and welcome briefing & site familiarisation.

    Commence trekking, approximately 30 minutes.

    Visit a beautiful natural waterfall, relax & swim.

    Enjoy lunch.

    Further swimming time if required in alternative waterfall pools.

    Program closure & prepare to depart.

  • Recommend to bring: suitable walking shoes, waterproof jacket/poncho, swim wear, towel, personal medication, extra clothes, insect repellent, sun block, drinking water, camera.
  • Please be prepared with long pants/trousers, socks and shoes that are adequate for jungle trekking. Hiking shoes If you have them, sports shoes if you do not.

No advance payment is required, simply pay cash in Ringgit-Malaysia to tour guide. However, you still need pay in full for any cancellation made 1 day prior to tour date.

Awesome jungle trekking experience with Shaun to get to kionsom waterfall. He was a great host and guide, we felt safe to be in the jungle with him. We were introduced to some of the local flora and fauna. The waterfall was also just surreal to look at in real life. I recommend people to try this at least once. Overall experience is 10/10 from us. We will coming back again to jungle trek with borneo outdoor expedition
