Are you looking for some serious wet and wild fun? Then get ready to strap on your life jacket and safety helmet to experience the ultimate white water rafting in Padas river. Padas is muddy river situated in the interior of southwestern part of Kota Kinabalu that is only accessible by train.

Classified as grade III - IV and claimed to have the best rapids in South East Asia, Padas river is a challenging adrenaline that you must go and try for! Thia adrenaline rush white water rafting trip covers a distance of 9km and holds 7 tough exhilarating rapids!

The rapids have amusing names such as Merry-Go-Round rapid, Break Point rapid, Scooby Doo rapid, Cobra rapid, Curve rapid, Lambada rapid and Head Hunter rapid. Each of the rapids will give you the feel and motion as what the name means. This trip is suitable for advance and skilled paddlers but we always welcome you as the first timer to join us!

Itinerary

    Meet at hotel lobby and transfer to Tenom Railway Station.

    Arrived at Tenom Railway Station.

  • 3

    Transfer on to a local train which will go through the country side. Journey from Tenom Railway Station to Pangi 30 minutes.

    Upon on arrival at Pangi, a safety briefing will conducted by qualified river guide before starting the ultimate raft down Padas River.

    Start Rafting The rafting experience will last approximately 1.5 - 2 hours.

    Finish rafting and transfer back to rafting base.

    Enjoy local lunch.

    Board the train for the return trip to Tenom and transfer back to Kota Kinabalu by van.

    Estimated time arrival at Kota Kinabalu and transfer back to hotel.

Warm Remind

  • Surcharge of MYR10 per person applied for pickup at Avangio Hotel.
  • Age limit for child is 12 years old and above.
  • Photos can be purchased from cameraman with MYR150.
  • Please let us know if you have dietary request, e.g. vegetarian.
  • Recommended to bring: sandal with strap/sport shoes, short and T-shirt (not white colour), swimwear, insect repellent, sun-block lotion, change of clothes, towel, hat, extra pocket money.
  • People with heart disease, epilepsy or other severe disease are advised not to rafting.
  • Please prepare retainer for your glasses, and do not wear contact lenses.
  • Liability Release Form MUST be signed.

Pay on travelling day

No advance payment is required, simply pay cash in Ringgit-Malaysia to tour guide. However, you still need pay in full for any cancellation made 1 day prior to tour date.
