Description

Come and enjoy the three island dive!

Diving in Mataking Island is a dream come true for many enthusiasts. Its pristine landscape, teeming with fascinating underwater flora and fauna, along with its stunning sandy beaches, makes it a sought-after paradise. From barracudas to ribbon eels, giant clams to eagle rays, the variety of marine life here is astonishing. Dive sites include D'wall, Coral Gardens, Underwater Post Office, and Turtle Playground. At these dive sites, you have the chance to encounter large pelagic fish like grey reef sharks, eagle rays, and manta rays, as well as one of the world's only five underwater post offices. You'll also have the chance to spot smaller marine creatures such as octopuses, lionfish, and stonefish. The whale shark, the largest shark in the ocean, is known to frequent Sabah waters from March to June each year, though this may vary due to global climate change. If you're fortunate enough to encounter one, remember to observe from a distance and resist the urge to touch. Marine life should be admired from afar, without disturbing its natural habitat.

Pom Pom Island, a 45-minute boat ride from Tawau Semporna, boasts rich tropical vegetation and long stretches of pristine white sandy beaches. Surrounded by the Celebes Sea and seven islands, it's an ideal destination for avid divers to explore various dive sites, seek out rare fish, and indulge in "muck diving" adventures. Discover the tiniest and most exotic marine life has become a challenge to the diver. With over 20 dive sites, including Mandarin Heaven, Pit Rock, Northern Valley, and New Life, divers of all levels will find suitable spots to explore. Wildlife encounters may include sea turtles, banded sea snakes, robust ghost pipefish, glassfish, octopuses, and blue-spotted stingrays.

Timba-timba Island is known for the wonderful beach great to look for rare marine life that includes large cuttlefish, frog fish, crab, sea snakes and sometimes nurse sharks hiding under table coral. While turtles can be seen in numbers other frequent sights include blue ribbon eels, moray eels, barracudas, lobster, large coral trout and snappers. The island has more than ten dive sites, including Sweet Lips Table, Stingray City, Pygmy Point, Cahaya Way......Simply hearing the name stirs up excitement!
