The biggest attraction in Sabah for tourist all around the world ~ Mount Kinabalu. It’s the highest peak in south-east Asia, measuring 4,095.2 m high. Some say, the Mount Kinabalu is one of the easiest mountain to climb, but don’t underestimate the challenges that you’ll face on the Summit Trail.

Every year, thousands of people from all ages and fitness level conquered the Mount Kinabalu Summit – the secret is stamina. Upon reaching the summit you’ll have the chance to witness an unbeatable sunrise (on clear weather) – your greatest prize for conquering the highest peak in south-east Asia – Mount Kinabalu.

An experienced mountain guide will lead no others but you to the peak.

Porter Fee (Optional)
Porter service is fully optional depends on individual. Due to number of porters are reducing, your mountain guide might also act as your porter (depends on the availability of porter during the actual day).
 

• Porters will measure the weight of backpacks in front of climbers.
• Payments will be made directly to the porter by cash, minimum weight is 10 Kgs.
• Porters will not trek along with you, so keep all the necessities that you need with you.
• Things can get wet on the mountain, so pack your belongings in big plastic bag/use a backpack rain cover to protect your climbing gear.
• A porter would normally carry up to 10kg at MYR13 - MYR16 per kg. Simply ask for porter service on climbing day upon registration.
• You may leave the luggage at Kinabalu Park, there will be a charge at MYR 15 per bag per night.
• No age limit for kid to join, however, it is recommended at least 16 years old.
• Children 16 years old & below will required a personal Mountain Guide @ RM 350 nett guide. Maximum 1 guide for 2 children.

Insurance coverage for climbers area as follow:

Accidental death only :
MYR 70,000.00 (climber age between 13 to 75 years)
MYR 50,000.00 (climber age under 13 and above 75 years)

Lifelong disability as a result of an accident that occurred :
MYR 70,000.00 (climber age between 13 to 75 years)
MYR 50,000.00 (climber age under 13 and over 75 years)
  
Accidental costs only :
MYR 5,000.00 (climber age between 13 to 75 years)
MYR 2,000.00 (climber age under 13 and over 75 years)
  
Funeral arrangement :
MYR 2,000.00 (per climber)
